Miguel was born and raised in Benavente - Portugal in 1987, where the first signs of his broad-ranging capabilities started to appear.

In 1999, he had a short-story winning the first prize at the original writing competition promoted by "Uma Aventura" books.

In the following year, his affinity with numbers translated into a 4th place at the national calculus game "Jogo do 24" [Game of 24].

 

Despite his pleasure for writing, his passion for science and for the natural laws that rule the world led him to complete his Integrated Master's Degree on Mechanical Engineering, from Instituto Superior Técnico [IST], in Lisbon - Portugal. At the same time, he was a member of the IST Theatre Group for 5 years, as a way to explore his creativity and his human side.

 

After graduating, in 2012, he travelled to Rio de Janeiro - Brazil, where he intends to feel a new culture. He is, at the moment, committed to complete his MBA on Project Management, from Universidade Estácio de Sá, and to complete his online courses of "Science and Cooking" and "Introduction to Computer Science", both from Harvard.
